What are the requirements to become a disney face character?

When you go on a face character audition, they won't just let anyone be cinderella or snow white or ariel, right?

what are they looking for?

how do they decide who gets to play a disney character around the park and who doesn't?|||When you go in to audition, you aren't auditioning for one character in particular. They basically line everyone up and simply pick out people who fit the various requirements. To be a face character, you have to be in a certain height range (for princesses it is between 5'2" and 5'7"), as well as have the right body type. You also have to have a facial structure that resembles the character, as well as look the right age. You must fit the rules to be a Disney cast member (natural hair color, no tattoos, no piercings for guys, one piercing per ear for girls). If you get picked to go on to the next round, you're asked to show off your acting ability by portraying the character they have chosen for you, as well as perform a simple movement combination to show that you can do the correct character gestures. You may also be asked to prove that you can learn choreography, especially if your character will be in a parade.

If you are hired as a face character, you then have to go on to learn everything there is to know about that character, so you can talk to the guests as that person. You also have to learn the proper poses to strike for photos and how to do the signature.

They aren't just looking for someone who looks like the character, they want someone who embodies the character, someone that will make the guests feel like they are talking to the real thing.|||Someone who is crazily skinny, pretty, elegant, and talented.|||type disney auditions in your search bar. you should be able to find what

you want.
