It is our first time to go. We are a couple (28 years old) without children and we need to see as mush as we can in 4 days only. I heard about The Unofficial guide %26amp; The complete guide to Disney and also some others, We have time to read only one book. We prefer also detailed maps and directions.|||I'd say it's a tossup between the Passporter and the Unofficial Guide.
Passporter:

-Awesome maps! Colored, detailed, shows time to walk from one place to another
-Nice data about rides and attractions
-Some touring plans
Unofficial Guide:
-LOTS of information
-Many great touring plans
-Includes info about nearby hotels, restaurants, and attractions
Really, I'd get both books and skim through them. You don't have to actually read them- just look at the parts you need.|||the unofficial is great!~~~|||We use the Disney.com website. It's free, and you can even print off personalized park maps now after you choose your favorite attractions!
The best advice I can give you if you're going only for 4 days is: do NOT go to Magic Kingdom on a Saturday. You'll spend more time in line than on rides. Wait until Monday or Tuesday, if possible. Do Animal Kingdom or EPCOT on Saturday instead.|||In addition to the one mentioned above, I like "The Cheapskate's Guide to Walt Disney World: Time-Saving Techniques and the Best Values in Lodging, Food, and Shopping" by Michael Lewis and Debbi Lacey. I believe the latest is the 2005 (4th) edition.
Can't you both read a different one?|||I prefer to use brinbaum's, or however you spell it.|||Passporter definitely|||If you really don't have the time to read the books, but want to know the ins and outs of Walt Disney World, then another option for you is to go on to either allearsnet.com or wdwinfo.com. These two websites are very informative about everything Disney. You can check out the different resorts (pics included) and also check out the different menus for the different restaurants. They also tell you of any attraction closings and refurbishments that may be going on while you are there. At both websites you can also get detailed maps of the whole area, and if you are staying in one of their resorts, wdwinfo.com has resort maps with the designated smoking areas. I always go onto these 2 sites when making my WDW vacations. Most Disney books are all going to have the same basic instuctions... go to fantastmic early, get your fastpass for tower of terror first then go wait in line for rockin' roller coaster and so on...|||I got the Unofficial guide to Disney and

I love the book
After I was done, I gave it to my daughters place that does OT/pt and speech with special needs children. That book never in the place more than a week. It was the best book on Disney. It help with my child, but it was the best tour book out of the two. I was surprise on how much more information it gave. It was very helpful|||I use the Unofficial Guide. It's the best. It has touring plans in the back that will help you to get the most out of each park with the least amount of time standing in line. The 2008 guide should be on shelves now. I buy the guide every year and study it. The best advice is to arrive early and be at the turnstiles, ticket in hand, before the park opens. The guide will help you to avoid rides or shows that aren't worth your time and has a "don't miss" list for each park. My best map came from my Disney hotel (on the back of the resort map is a map of all the roads to get to each park). If you live by directions, use Mapquest.com to get get from the airport to your hotel.
