Well I was just wondering what time of the year are airline tickets going to be the cheapest to fly to disney world. I don't mind price of Disney World because its Disney World you cant expect it to be cheap. But I want to try to find the best deal on airline tickets.|||If kids are out of school then everyone is traveling and prices are high. If kids are in school prices are lower. This especially applies to anything Disney! Look for flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I would pick Sept, Oct, early Nov. Disney lowers hotel prices and sometimes offers free dining plan in Sept. Also look up southwest airlines because they don't book with travelocity or expedia. Also look at different times of the day. I have found lower prices early in the morning and higher prices in the evening (on the same day).|||It will all depend on what airline you fly, and where you are flying from. Various cities will have deals to certain locations that other cities won't have.
In general, the further out you book your flights, the better. Flights booked far in advance are cheaper then flights booked a few weeks before a trip. That is basically true for any airline and any city.
Another tip is to avoid flying on Saturdays, and during the holidays, because those are times when flight prices are usually higher. If you book through Disney.com, AAA, Orbitz, or Travelocity you can get whole packages which include your park tickets, airfare and hotel. You can sometimes get a good deal there. I almost always book with AAA for the discount.
Good luck!|||It's definitely cheaper to book your vacation together thru Disney's webpage. I booked our vacation for April (after spring break but before summer) I think this is the best time to go....we go every year at this time!!
For 5 of us (3 adults and 2 children) 2 rooms at a value resort, meal pass, park hopper tickets, 8 nights and airline. It cost us around 5 grand....which is a steal!!
