However, I don't think this change will phase out the need for real people. A computer can only do so much and Disney emphasizes guest interaction. People to people communication is always a better bet than people to robot.

|||no, it would more than likely expand their employees because they would need more mechanical engineers and what not|||Disney already has several audioanimatronic (what they call their robots) figures operating in its parks, and they usually are used for ride scenery, the park employees won't be affected. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't get more, I don't know if it will be Muppets though.|||No it won't effect any of the characters in the park. I seriously doubt that you will be seeing an Animatronic Cinderella or Mickey Mouse.
This will actually increase the ability for characters in the park, as it opens up the ability for more advanced characters and there will always have to be a "handler".
