How do you go about asking the Disney company about a copyright?

A movie produced by Disney was only sold on VHS tapes, and it was quite awhile ago. I had to pay $40.00 to get an old used copy of the VHS tape of that movie. There are no DVDs made. I'd like to find out from Disney how I could go about copying this movie to DVD and selling the copies, if they even would allow that. Does anyone know where I'd contact someone at Disney? And address, email address, or phone number would be great.|||That is so totally illegal..

Disney would never give permission to create its movies on DVD..

One reason is the quality of Home--DVD making is not even close to a Studio Production--you would actually be selling a inferior product---Disney just would not allow that.|||They do not license production of their movies to others. If they did, you couldn't afford the multi-million dollar licensing fees for anything to do with Disney. You cannot print a Bambi on a bedsheet without paying Disney millions up front, plus royalties per bedsheet sold. Disney is renowned for some of the most expensive licensing fees in the business.|||You write to Disney Corporate Offices and wait for the refusal. Disney NEVER gives approval.
