I have a Walt Disney World FL Resident "Weekday" pass, with black out dates, and was curious if anyone has used a pass during blackout dates or on the weekend. In my experience, certain cast members at the gate will "wave" you through manually if your ticket doesn't scan the first time. Any input on similar experiences?|||When we went once my key card wouldn't work, then I freaking lost it! We no joke just walked up to the lines and I had my Husband go in with our older son, and I went with my youngest son in the stroller and was getting the bags out from underneath the stroller and just kinda sneaked past the person scanning the fingerprints! She was to busy dealing with my Hubby and son that she didn't notice she didn't check me! I did get a new key card which you can do at the park but I did it later that day. I had to show my ID. My Hubby then lost his and he just walked his butt right through and they didn't even say a word to him! IDK how he did it but he's one of those guys that gets away with anything and everything! ;) lucky!
I haven't heard of them just "waving" ppl on. I think it's all who's line you go through!|||I have been manually "waved" through due to a faulty key card... but they checked my ID first - they didn't just assume it was a problem with the reader - they made sure everything was valid.|||YES, its tricky. You have to shmooze the people at the gates. I wouldn't try it if you have a large group. I'd say about two people.
