What parts of Disney world would my 11 year old like best?

Ok so me and my wife are taking our 11 year old son to Disney world here in about 3 weeks. Now i know there are some parts that are for older people and some that are for little kids. What parts do you think he would enjoy the most??

We arent planning on going to every part of the park. Thats why i am asking for sugestions on which parts would be best?|||its a tough call because we don't know what he likes. I live about 15 minutes away from the park, have an annual pass and i am the official tour guide for my family and friends and i have seen kids that loved live music, others wanted to shop and some just wanted to go on rides. so i will list top rides depending on taste.

adventure lover that loves excitement coaster.

Magic Kingdom: the three mountains (space, Splash and Big Thunder)

Epcot: Test Track, Mission Space.

Hollywood Studios (MGM's new name) Rock and Roller Coaster, tower of Terror and Star Tours. (Lights Motor, Action is a show but i still include it in this.)

Animal Kingdom: Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest, Dinasour and Primeval Swirl.

Loves Animals... Animal Kingdom. play special attention to the two walking tours (some people miss them) of animals as well as the safari ride.

Likes live music: Epcot has the most shows but animal kingdom has two great shows (festival of the lion king and Finding nemo)

Likes movies: Pirates (at MK), Great Movie ride and Back Lot Tour (DHW)

these are just some pointers. i would suggest to try as many things as possible. you never know what will might enjoy.|||When I went (Im 11 ) I loved MGM it was so cool

|||The best parks for children at The Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. The other two parks (Epcot %26amp; Hollywood Studios) are aimed a little bit more at adults, so you should spend less time at those two.

At the Magic Kingdom, don't miss the following rides: Peter Pan, Philharmagic, Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Goofy's Barnstormer, Space Mountain (if your son likes roller coasters), The Jungle Cruise, Swiss Family Treehouse, Tom Sawyers Island (a must do for those with little boys, it's full of forts %26amp; caverns).

At Animal Kingom, make sure you do the Kilamanjaro Safari early. It's the most popular ride in the park, and the animals are out more early in the morning. Also, it's tough to be a bug is a great 3-d show. If your son scares easily, skip it. If he likes bugs %26amp; creepy stuff, he'll love it! Rafiki's Planet Watch is a great part of the park for kids to learn things, and do hands on activities. Mostly, take time to walk around %26amp; see all the animals. Talk to the cast members, they really know a lot about animals %26amp; make things interesting!

Outside of the parks, don't forget to visit Downtown Disney. There's a lego shop for kids, a Rainforest Cafe, a brand new T-Rex Dinosaur restaurant, and a really fun Fantasia themed minigolf course.

Have a wonderful trip!|||I see kids enjoy every single part of WDW! When you go to Epcot though most of the rides will be at the front in Future World. Just remember it's mom and dads vacation too and Epcot had cuisine and beverages to try from all over the world! They also have KIDCOT stops at every pavilion in Epcot where they learn about that country, make something for their mask (I believe is what the craft is) and get a special kidcot pass punched at everyone pavilion. Not to mention every country has Characters there accordingly. (ex. France has Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Morrocco has Aladdin and Jasmine)

Hope that helps!

Enjoy your trip!!!|||All of Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios would be the places I would suggest, they are the two regions I had the most fun in when I went (I was 12). There are parts of Magic Kingdom that he'd enjoy but if you're just picking a couple then I would skip it considering his age. And Epcot has a few things but not really as much as Animal Kingdom and Studios. Hope I helped!|||In the magic kingdom he would like tomorrow land and frontier land.

In epcot he would love future world.

At Hollywood studioes he would like rock n roller coaster and tower of terror also star tours.

Animal Kingdom he would like Asia (expedition everest)|||he would probably love MGM studios and maybe animal kingdom if he is into animals, MGM studios has a CRAZY rollercoaster that goes from like 0-60 mph in like 2 seconds, it has the towere of terror too, which still freaks me out!|||Hollywood Disney here click here:

to find out what is best.|||My kids 11 and 10 would tell you Magic Kingdom without any hesitation. Their second choice would probably be Animal Kingdom, but might be Epcot which probably would surprise some people.

The Magic Kingdom is the quintessential "Disney" experience and has the most rides of any park and if you can only choose one park, this should be it. It has the most variety of rides, too. It has everything from the tame (some would say boring) "It's a Small World" to "Space Mountain."

You're second choice is a little harder. Animal Kingdom is very appealing in that it's newer and has one of the best rides in all of Disney - Expedition Everest; however, it doesn't have a big closing show with fireworks and it closes early.

Epcot on the other hand shows it's age a little more but has one of the most spectacular fireworks/laser/flame/fountain/music closing shows you'll ever see. It also stays open later than any of the other parks so you "get more for your money. It also has it's share of great rides like "Test Track" and "Soarin" that our kids absolutely love - probably more than Expedition Everest. Our kids actually enjoy the World Showcase portion of Epcot, too. We always let them do the Passport or collect the mask charms so they have something to look forward to in each country. This really depends on your child though. (See my blog for more free things to do at Epcot like building a free robot or riding a Seqway - http://disneyworldadvice.blogspot.com/20鈥?/a>

Something else that would probably really help is for you to get Kim Wiley's book Disney World with Kids. She describes the attractions at each park and gives a lot of advice about touring the parks from the perspective of a parent. I always get the latest edition before going and have found it extremely helpful. You can find a link to it on my blog, too.

Hope you have fun!|||None - he's too old - take him to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios instead, especially if he likes to ride
